Trevor Noah had the best reaction to Lupita Nyong'o playing his mom

Daily Show host Trevor Noah's memoir Born a Crime is being turned into a movie, and he is pretty excited about who's been cast to play his mother.

Despite being only one year older than Noah, Kenyan-Mexican actress Lupita Nyong'o has been cast to play Noah's mom Patricia in her younger years. 

Noah told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show that he was pretty excited about the casting after seeing Nyong'o in Marvel's Black Panther. 

"When I saw Lupita in Black Panther and saw how she kicked everyone's asses, I was like 'oh, yeah! That reminds me of how my mom used to whoop my ass,'" Noah said.  Read more...
